FAQS

ARE YOU OPEN TO THE PUBLIC?

The Community Garden is open to public to use the space and view the gardens. We have a Little Free Library, a sand pit play area, a designated tasting garden during growing season and several spots to take a rest and have a snack. The garden is located on Jefferson County Public School property. We ask all visitors to adhere to JeffCo Public School Property rules. We also ask visitors to clean up after themselves and respect our space.

HOW CAN I JOIN THE COMMUNITY GARDEN?

Please fill out the Contact Us form with your request and a volunteer member of the Garden Committee will get back to you.

ARE YOUR CLASSES AND WORKSHOPS FREE OF COST?

Classes offered on the website are free to members of the Community Garden unless noted otherwise. Most classes are exclusive to our members. If a class is open to the public, we will be sure to indicate that in the event listing.

MAY I SAMPLE FRUITS AND VEGETABLES FROM THE GARDENS?

Nearly all plots are paid for and maintained by individual gardeners and visitors MAY NOT harvest from plots. With this in mind, we share and maintain one plot where visitors may sample fruits and vegetables, the tasting garden. The tasting garden is labelled "Tasting Garden" and posts guidelines for visitors' use.
